My travels and culture inspire my recipes.I'm originally from Minneapolis and grew up in an Ethiopian household. Childhood dishes were enriched with spices and lovely aromas that would make you go back for seconds. Cooking with herbs is a technique that I've incorporated into my cooking, today. I started this blog to showcase the beauty of these ingredients and as a creative outlet for food photography.
1. I'm that person that will study a restaurant menu and read through cookbooks in my spare time.
2. Two things that I will never get tired of is an iced latte and crispy fries, the ones that are tossed in truffle oil, parameasean cheese and parsley.
